What types of micromotors are there?

Date:2024-01-29 Author:XINDA MOTOR

There are many types of micromotors, including brushless motors, brushed motors, DC motors, AC motors, series motors, gearbox reduction motors, etc.

1. Electromagnetic type: The basic composition is similar to that of ordinary motors, including stator, rotor, armature windings, brushes and other components, but the structure is extremely compact.

2. Combined type: There are two common types: the combination of the above-mentioned various micromotors; the combination of micromotors and electronic circuits. For example, the combination of DC motor and sensor, the combination of X-direction and Y-direction linear motor, etc.

3. Non-electromagnetic type: The appearance structure is the same as that of the electromagnetic type. For example, rotating products are made into a cylindrical shape and linear products are made into a square shape. However, the internal structure is very different due to different working principles.

Micro motors are motors with small size and capacity, with output power generally below several hundred watts, and motors with special requirements for use, performance and environmental conditions. It is often used in control systems to realize functions such as detection, calculation, amplification, execution or conversion of electromechanical signals or energy, or for transmitting mechanical loads, and can also be used as AC and DC power supplies for equipment.
