The parameters of the miniature geared motor

The micro geared motor is a structural component composed of mechanical parts and electronic parts, and there are many parameters involved. Xinda Motor has sorted out the parameters of the micro geared motor for your reference:

1. Voltage: The miniature geared motor operates through an external power supply, and the voltage range is generally between 1.5 volts and 24 volts. The higher the voltage, the greater the current and the higher the speed.

2. The power of the micro geared motor: the power of the motor generally refers to the rated power, that is, the maximum power that can operate normally for a long time under the rated voltage. The power of the micro geared motor is related to important parameters such as output speed, torque, and current.

3. Reduction ratio: The reduction ratio of the miniature geared motor i=input speed ÷ output speed. After the motor is selected, the reduction ratio determines the output speed and output torque

4. Torque: The greater the torque, the greater the load, which reflects the load capacity of the micro geared motor. Torque calculation formula:

Torque=9550*P*U*i/n

Note: P is the motor power, U is the transmission efficiency, i is the reduction ratio, n is the input speed


5. The no-load speed of the micro geared motor: that is, the speed of the micro geared motor without any load. Considering the actual loss, the actual no-load speed is still lower than the ideal no-load speed.

6. Backstroke difference: There is a gap between the meshes of the gears, otherwise they cannot move. Because of this gap, the output end is fixed, and the input end rotates clockwise and counterclockwise, so that when the input end generates rated torque ±2% torque, there is a slight angular displacement at the input end of the reducer, which is the return clearance Also called backlash, the unit is "cent", which is one sixtieth of one degree. The smaller the return difference, the higher the precision of the micro geared motor.
