Working principle of planetary reducer



The planetary reducer is tightly combined on the gear housing through the inner gear ring. In the center of the gear ring, there is a sun gear assembled by the output shaft of the drive motor. Between the two is a set of planetary gear stages composed of three gears combined on the tray. The gear is supported by the output shaft, the sun gear and the inner gear ring. When the sun gear rotates, it will drive the planetary gear to self-select and revolve along the center along the track of the inner gear ring. The rotation of the planetary gear drives the output shaft of the tray to output power.


1) The number of planetary gear stages, that is, the number of gear sets, for some applications with large loads, a set of planetary gears cannot meet the requirements of the drive ratio, so it is necessary to increase the number of gear sets to meet the larger drive ratio requirements, but as the number of gear stages increases , the length of the reducer will be longer, and the work efficiency will be lost more.
